MEET THE TEAM

Branches Peforming Arts

The Branches Performing Arts teaching faculty comprises of passionate and professional teachers who are devoted to delivering high quality dance education through an innovative and carefully crafted approach. 

The success of Branches Performing Arts and the strong sense of community relies upon our dedicated team who are committed to providing learning opportunities that are conducive to individual growth. 

Our students have the opportunity to access leading dance experts, creating the ultimate training experience. 

Amy Tinning

Our Principal

Originally from rural Queensland, Amy began training and performing at a young age across Australia. During high school, she trained primarily at Dance Central, excelling in Royal Academy of Dance examinations, competitions, and local productions with The Empire Theatre.

Her strong foundation at Dance Central led to her acceptance at Edith Cowan University, where she earned a Bachelor of Performing Arts from WAAPA.

During her time at WAAPA, Amy was selected for an exchange to Taipei National University, culminating in her lead role in The Rite of Spring during the 2013 Beijing tour.

Meet the Teachers

Natasha Kovacs

Natasha began performing in QLD, earning her CSTD Student Teachers in Jazz and Tap, and completing Advanced 2 in RAD Ballet. She later trained at Brent Street Studios in Sydney, earning a Cert IV in Performing, and then pursued a BA in Music at the Australian Institute of Music, where she played Mimi in Rent.

Her performance credits include touring with the Glenn Miller Orchestra and Peppa Pig Live World Tour, as well as roles in CinderellaPeter PanStrictly Gershwin, and Strictly Ballroom. She has danced in GoddessAustralia’s Next Top Model, and LA’s Carnival, and performed at events for Sony, Universal, and Ramsay Health.

Lonii Garnons-Williams

Lonii Garnons-Williams, born in Darwin, trained at Queensland Dance School of Excellence and WAAPA. She has worked with Dancenorth, Queensland Ballet, and Australian Dance Theatre, earning a 2015 Helpmann Award nomination.

After performing in Canada with Red Sky Performance, she shifted to choreography, dance education, and Pilates. Since becoming a mother in 2023, Lonii has been involved in dance competitions like Brisbane International Contemporary Dance Prix, guiding the next generation of dancers.

Jaqui Rinaldi

Jacqui Rinaldi is the Distance Dance Acro teacher at Branches Performing Arts and co-founded the National Institute of Performing Arts (NIPA) in 2013.

A sought-after acrobatics teacher in Melbourne, she has taught at top studios and brought workshops to regional areas. NIPA has since expanded internationally, specialising in jazz and acrobatics. Jacqui trains elite dancers and believes every student can excel with the right opportunities.

Gabrielle Millen

In 2023, Gabriella joined our Distance Dance program teaching faculty. She has built her dance knowledge on the solid foundations of RAD ballet and is a passionate, RAD-registered educator.

With years of experience teaching in person and online, she leads several Distance Dance classes, including Tiny Tots, RAD Ballet, Lyrical/Contemporary, and Body Conditioning. Gabriella is also an award-winning choreographer with a natural talent for teaching dance.

Hannah Gronold

Hannah began dance classes at 18 months and later turned to gymnastics when no classes were available in her hometown. In 2020, she resumed her dance training via Zoom with Branches Performing Arts, and after two years, she’s gained new friends, skills, and awards.

Erica Sykes

Falling in love with ballet at age 11, Erica began training with Aina Reega, a former Borovansky ballerina. Over the next decade, she studied with inspiring mentors, leading her to become a qualified Royal Academy of Dance teacher.

With over 35 years as the director of her own studio, Erica’s passion for teaching has fostered a caring environment for her students. She stays current by attending weekly ballet classes and encourages young dancers to be creative, maintain a positive mindset, and love what they do.

Bell Moore

Belinda Moore is a movement coach, personal trainer, and body conditioning specialist with 25 years of dance experience. She has worked in NZ, Australia, and the US for major companies like NBC Universal, Comcast, and Disney, performing alongside Kesha, Lorde, and Halle Berry, and in events like the Emmy-winning Nashville Christmas Parade and New Zealand Fashion Week.

In 2020, Belinda created BodyLab, a physiotherapist-approved strength and mobility program designed to help dancers improve movement patterns, stability, and performance.

Hillary Harley

Miss Hillary is based in Julia Creek in the role of North West Studio manager, running our Cloncurry, Richmond and Julia Creek studios. Miss Hillary’s dance experience is well rounded with a decade of training behind her in: Tap, RAD Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical/Contemporary and Hip-Hop.

Miss Hillary has built her dance knowledge upon the solid foundations instilled by her Brisbane based studio. She is passionate about inspiring the next generation of regional dancers and is passionate about offering her knowledge, energy and enthusiasm to our in person students.
